Oh The Irony....

This is like saying JUMBO shrimp.

"Members of Russia's Communist Party are calling for a nationwide boycott of the new Indiana Jones movie..."

Lets see. if the communists boycott the movie, the lost ticket sales...breaking out the calculator....$7.

Quotes a Plenty: You Decide

"We should seek by all means in our power to avoid war, by analysing possible causes, by trying to remove them, by discussion in a spirit of collaboration and good will. I cannot believe that such a programme would be rejected by the people of this country, even if it does mean the establishment of personal contact with the dictators"
- Neville Chamberlain

In the democratic debate in Charleston, S.C., Obama was asked by a questioner via YouTube if he would be willing to meet — without precondition — in the first year of his presidency with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea.
“I would,”
- Barack Obama

“Senator Obama has declared, and repeatedly reaffirmed his intention to meet the president of Iran without any preconditions, likening it to meetings between former American presidents and the leaders of the Soviet Union. Such a statement betrays the depth of Senator Obama’s inexperience and reckless judgment. Those are very serious deficiencies for an American president to possess,”
- John McCain

Legislating from the Bench

A quote from an LA Times story about how four of seven people completely ignored the will of millions in California.  I think the quote illustrates what motivates these activist judges.

It also underscores how important it is to have jurists who understand they are there to interpret law…not make it.

“A fellow justice told George she would be at her desk in the morning because she wanted "to be part of history."

A Depressing News Day

First we have the Democratic party undermining our President as he makes a speech in Israel, where he rightly pointed out that appeasement gets you nowhere. The Europeans have been negotiating with Iran for years, while the nuke program rolls on, and the rockets rain down on Israel.  Even just yesterday the President of Iran threatened the existence of Israel. Limp wristed liberals.

Speaking of which….

Then we hear that the Supreme Court in California, against the will of the vast, and I mean vast majority of Californians, has decided that gay marriage is in fact legal. Not only did they say that gay marriage is legal, but they also defined homosexuals as a “protected class” (think race/gender/religion). This is how the liberal agenda gets passed in America. The people of California had voted back in 2000 (Proposition 22) by 60% to 40% to ban gay marriage. So, as always, what they cannot get through the voting booth, liberals take to the courts which make stuff up to suit their agenda. Seven people unilaterally decided this for the millions in California. Combine this with the indoctrination the children in California will ultimately receive, and the families there are doomed.

Barack Obama=BO..Because He Stinks

I have taken to shortening Barack Hussein Obama to simply BO...which is entirely appropriate.

Because he does as a candidate, after all, stink.

The Real Story Behind The Jeremiah Wright Rants

The one thing I noticed about the Jeremiah Wright Rants, both his sermons (which Obama listened to for 20 years) and his appearance before the National Press Club, is that there are none to few people who actually clap…

...in rabid agreement....

when the man speaks.

So when he says the most hateful things about our country ("God DAAAAAAM America!"), his followers actually clap.

Now if North Carolina is any indication, 90% of that demographic will vote for Obama.

If you are voting for Obama, this is the company you are keeping.

Been Away, But I am Back

I have rather been enjoying the Democrat crackup over the last few months, but I have been in a bit of a funk, so I have not been spending a lot of time with my blog.

To anyone who still checks this website, I apologize.

However, there is lots to talk about, and rather than simply let events slip by, I plan to opine here quite a bit more frequently.  As I see it, my opinions cannot be any better or worse than the professional punditry as it relates to the election.  Whether you are a D or an R, one thing is certain….the ones who are paid to write about politics and elections could not have been more wrong about the goings on in the last few months.

I also happen to think my stuff is better written. ;)
